For over 20 years, Kate has worked to advance child health and wellbeing in the public and nonprofit sectors in the United States. In this journey, she has worked with policy makers to improve and advance social programs and health care coverage; with seasoned nonprofit professionals to advance their issues through strategic communications; and with health care leaders to improve care for children and adults with chronic disease.
She currently works as a personal coach and consultant to nonprofit organisations focused on advancing social causes and healthcare. At its core, Kate’s work focuses on initiating and navigating change at the personal, organisational and systems levels. Kate holds a masters degree in Social Work from Boston University. She is a certified Personal and Professional Coach. She also is an experienced practitioner of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Breakthrough Series model of healthcare quality improvement. She speaks French well enough to get around and loves cycling. Kate lives outside of Dublin, Ireland with her husband and two children.
