A doctor by background with a Masters in Healthcare Management, PRINCE 2 practitioner and a trained executive coach, Dr Maniar has twenty years’ experience of managing wide range of clinical services. He has been a senior management consultant and have worked on medical, theatre and outpatient productivity across the country.
Dr Maniar has led and have been part of the project teams / programme boards that delivered on multiple key turnaround and cost improvement projects, quality and performance targets through leadership and organisational development at some of the internationally known NHS Trusts. He has contributed to several professional courses including Leadership Excellence Achievement Programme (LEAP), Communication Skills to medical students and junior doctors, Involving Community and Local people.
He is passionate about community development and implementing quality in healthcare. He was a founder member and Chair of British Pakistani Professionals Forum and has worked as a Trustee of a UK registered charity. He has woked with various NGOs in developing and implementing projects for skills transfer, providing clean water, capacity building and implementing healthcare quality improvement projects.
